Editing
As an editor, Linda cannot be faulted. She has a great eye for interesting content, gives good and prompt feedback, supports her writers and engages her readers. I particularly appreciate the way Linda manages to create a good team feeling amongst a wide range of freelance contributors, making us all feel part of the RFT family, even though most of us have never met. Linda has excellent skills in using social media to engage readers. I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a writer, editor, PR or lovely person to work with.Joanne Mallon, career coach, author and journalist
Interviewing
The most sensitive area Linda has helped was in negotiating with national newspapers as we marked the fifth anniversary of the day life as we knew it ended. In doing so, she represented Owen and I and negotiated and got a donation of £3,000 for the charity. I have learnt too well how media re write stories to sell papers and not always write what they promise, for me this is so sensitive and never easy. Linda took some of that stress away through dealing with the media on our behalf and we are glad to have had her at our side. I know that Linda truly understands having been bereaved young herself, she has become a very good friend and is committed to help Smile For Joel help families who are torn apart by murder and terrorism. She says it helps her heart. We are very grateful for everything she has given Smile For Joel and given me personally.Suzy Richards, Smile for Joel
Speaking
Linda came to City of Wolverhampton College as a guest speaker for my NCTJ journalism students. She spoke about freelancing and my students described her as the most engaging and informative guest speaker they had had. Linda took time to get to know the students and their interested and instead of just talking to them, she set them tasks, gave them feedback and encouraged their questions. They all said they learned a lot from it and it was incredibly worthwhile. I would recommend Linda for your training needs.Dani Wozencroft, journalism lecturer
Your presentation really did make such a valuable contribution to the day, and the amount of discussion that it inspired after the conference was testament to just how much it was enjoyed by all.
"I have no doubt that you have opened the eyes of many of our members, highlighting to them just what the possibilities are when it comes to raising the profile of their campaigns.”
Luke Harman, United Nations Youth Association past president
I’ve never seen students take as many notes as they did tonight. Linda’s approach was to provide more a guest seminar rather than guest lecture — but it was a format that worked extremely well...Linda’s talk gave everyone what they wanted. The Q+A session was the most active we’ve had this year. And tips were flying all over the place. I was so impressed, in fact, that I bought her book. Which contains many great tips... Most handy, I think, is the blog checklist found at the back of the book. Each tip is as valid and useful as the next.

I attended Linda’s LinkedIn workshop and I can’t rave enough about it! Her advice was clear and easy to follow, lots and lots of practical advice, too. I am feeling more focused and clearer on how I can use LinkedIn to build connections and my business.Jenny Holliday, careers coach and features editor
I recently attended a LinkedIn training session with Linda and while I thought I knew what I was doing, she gave me some great tips and ideas to make better use of the platform.
Linda is knowledgeable and generous with this knowledge which is a breath of fresh air.
The group we worked in was small enough for everyone to take part and Linda made sure we all had considered feedback and was aware of our backgrounds so we had maximum impact from the session.
She has a calm, kind persona that brings people together and created a safe space to explore ideas and look at new perspectives.
If you are looking for a trainer, PR or writer who approaches work and clients with creativity and kindness, Linda is who you have been looking for and I am sure she will deliver the right results for you.

I attended Linda’s media training course on corporate writing and found it to be excellent. She made the subject entertaining and easy to understand with first class practical tips and suggestions, great notes and information to take away. Everyone left the day inspired to go out and find themselves some clients.
